Dann Childers is a musician/singer residing in Nashville, TN.  He has performed for a wide range of audiences across many different genres and settings with his forte being musical theatre and church music.

Dann was born in Louisa, KY but raised in Urbana, OH where he played the piano in his father’s church during his teen years. He is classically trained and commercially educated in music, earning a Bachelor’s in Music Education from Mars Hill University. He also studied classical piano performance at Indiana University and church music at Oral Roberts University. He trained in music business at Middle Tennessee State University.

His experience teaching music in public schools and private piano lessons led him to broaden his expertise in music publishing as a Licensing/Royalty Administrator for Gospel music/recording artist Reba Rambo and for the Estate of Dottie Rambo. He is a seasoned church musician and director as well as a skillful accompanist and music director for various singers, choirs, musicians and musical theatre shows.

He has collaborated with many different artists over the years including Dottie Rambo, Reba Rambo, Dony McGuire, Destiny Rambo Khouri, Michele Pillar, Karen Staley, Tabitha Fair, Rachel Potter, Jim Buchanan, Harry Robinson, Bryan Ward, Joe Smyth (of the band Sawyer Brown) and many others. He has an extensive portfolio of music transcriptions and arrangements for a resume of artists including Mark Lowry, Tyler Childers, Senora May, Dottie Rambo, Chip Davis, Mark Pogue and Rambo McGuire.

Dann released a project of piano hymns titled Hymnplayer in 2020. His latest release is a collection of piano Christmas tunes, Christmas Silhouettes. Both of these are available on all streaming/download platforms.
